This property offers an exceptional experience across the board. The spa facilities—including a large hot pool—are outstanding, and both the restaurant and full bar are of very high quality. The views are truly breathtaking, whether from the front or back of the property. The food was excellent, with well-crafted house-made drinks and an impressive beer selection. The spa experience was particularly memorable. While we did not stay in the main lodge, the owner also offers two nearby Airbnb accommodations that are highly recommended: Calowahcan and The Highlander. Additionally, the Great Gray, located right next to the lodge, serves what may be the best milkshake you’ll ever have.

My husband and I did an overnight trip recently and it was fabulous! The salt water spa was beautiful and very relaxing. The updated rooms have many amenities like a sound machine, French Press for coffee, teapot, sleep masks, etc. The bed was extremely comfortable. We got a great night of sleep. The dinner menu online isn't the actual dinner menu so hopefully they can update that soon. That being said we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved it here. The rooms are amazing, the lodge itself is rustic and fantastic. There's a great bar for drinks and we could not believe how good the food here is. We just had a wonderful dinner. Even the free breakfast is all real food which was a nice change. The salt water pool is but huge so I could see it filling up but everyone was so friendly and just having a great time together. Definitely has the small town Montana charm. We were able to take the dogs for a walk around the beautiful frozen pond which was great for them and us and just added to the whole experience. Finally the little coffee shop and gift store was perfect to relax and caffeinate in before we hit the road. I was sad the museum was closed for the winter but we will be back to check it out again.

Arrived and oops I made rez for the wrong month and they were booked. As we're sitting in the lobby the lady comes up and says they do have a room dedicated to day users but could make it up if we could wait a couple hours. Phew that alone is 5 star. The place is very nice, the restaurant has a killer view, the pool is awesome and even tho they were full it was never crowded. Nice modern rooms. The free breakfast was great full bacon/eggs thing. Only tiny thing is I got the steak salad & the steak was very tough. All other food was really good. It is in the middle of absolute nowhere which was great. Gorgeous mountains - check out the bird refuge across the street.

We stayed for our Anniversary & it was fabulous! We were there on a Monday so it was not busy - which we loved! We stayed in a Mountain view suite & the view was wonderful - the pond & the Mission Mountains. We had ribeye in the restaurant that was flavorful & cooked perfectly. We went to the spa after dinner & we had the whole pool to ourselves, which was fine with us! The whole place was spotless & the pool very clean. Such a value compared to most! It included a breakfast buffet which was great - we appreciated that the food was cooked fresh - not reconstituted eggs that most places have. The biscuits were tender & flakey. We'll surely be back - only about an hour away! Hightly recommend!

Just WOW! We had made an error when reserving the 4hr spa but Christy the manager was extremely kind and helped us fix it! We were able to go on Saturday and it was absolutely gorgeous! My husband and I were the only ones in the hot-springs for over an hour! We got some amazing drinks from the bar and finished off with dinner in the restaurant(which was PHENOMENAL)! We are obsessed and will be booking a weekend away here!

We rented the Calowahcan cabin for a few nights—it was SO darling and charming! We could not get enough of watching the Mountain change every hour depending on the light! The cabin itself is perfectly furnished with everything you would need! A whole lot of care went into equipping this cabin and making it a terrific little get-away! (And did I mention the hot tub-and access to the hot-water spa!, the restaurant nearby). Interestingly, the cabin is not right by the lodge, it was a 10” drive, but therefore was away from the highway, secluded, right up against the Mountain. And yet, close enough to drive for dinner at the Lodge, or enjoying the Spa.

We stayed in the cutest, secluded cabin and had an incredibly romantic time! It was the most welcoming place we have ever stayed at. Definitely going to book again. Had delicious chai lattes and an amazing breakfast sandwich on croissant at the Great Grey Gifts. The sitting area was relaxing and gorgeous….probably my favorite coffee shop ambiance I have ever experienced.
